Welcome to the homepage for the British Women’s National Ultimate team

Who Are We?

We are the British National Women's Ultimate team, and we're going to the World Ultimate and Guts Championships in Vancouver, Canada August 2-9th, 2008.
Our Goal is to bring home a medal for Britain this August!
Team members come from around Britain, from Edinburgh to Bristol, and represent the most talented, dedicated, and mentally tough players in the country.

Goals

To be a consistently dominant force on the international competitive women’s scene, and play to win the World Championships. We aim to bring home a medal for GB for the first time ever.

Our Approach

a) Get the best players in Britain, and the best mix of talent
b) To be the best, play the best in the world
c) Play offensive and defensive strategies that are competitive internationally
d) Play Hard: Love the game. Embrace the journey. Enjoy each other.
e) Set high quality targets – for strategy, skills, teamwork, mental toughness, and fitness – and give feedback relative to them
f) Make excellence a habit
g) Allow failure as a necessary part of pushing boundaries, learning from them to get to a new level

We are hosting Damme Slamme 2008 in Nottingham February 2nd and 3rd, 2008 and will be sending a team-mate to play on each of the women's hat teams. To help send a National Player to Damme Slamme as a captain, please email GBWomen@ukultimate.com
